Microporous Pressureless Sintered Silicon Carbide (LY203 (MicroporousSSiC))

Microporous Pressureless Sintered Silicon Carbide (LY203 (MicroporousSSiC)) is a special pressureless sintered SIC that optimizes the friction performance of the sealing surface. It is formed by adding a special pore-forming agent during the sintering process and sintering at high temperature. Uniformly distributed and independent non-connected spherical micropores on the friction surface act as storage cavities for fluids or lubricants, continuously maintaining a liquid film on the friction interface, further improving the friction performance. It not only has the characteristics of pressureless sintering but also more suitable for working under the conditions of instantaneous dry friction and long-term semi-dry friction and is widely used in high-end fields such as chemical industry, shipbuilding, scientific research, national defense and military technology.
